The Coquitlam River Watershed Cafe Series was held during 2013 and hosted by the Watershed Watch Salmon Society and the Coquitlam River Watershed Roundtable. Funding support has been gratefully provided by the Bullitt Foundation, Spirit of Coquitlam and the Coquitlam Foundation. 

Summary of Watershed Cafes

  • On November 29, 2013, Author Michael Lewis shared insights from his new book with an engaging presentation entitled: Global Unravelling: Pathways to Resilience close to Home.
  • On February 14, 2013, Gord Lewis shared his experiences working and living in the Coquitlam River at Art Connect's Pecha Kucha Night. Check out our uTube channel if you missed his talk.
  • On May 29, 2013, a diverse group of youth, adults and seniors engaged in vibrant discussion about how the Coquitlam River Watershed is important for spirituality, and debated how we define spirituality and whether in can be measured.
